Jambo Africa will host the BIASHARA Services & Products Africa Conference & Exhibition (BiSPA) 2020 virtual summit this year.

The event will take place online due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions.

African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), set by 54 African countries, is the biggest Free trade zone in the world.

The AfCFTA is set to create a large free economic platform that will bring together the various economic regions and countries of Africa. AfCTFA is meant to result in spin-offs like reduction in poverty, growing African countries’ economic muscle with a combined GDP of more than US$3.4 trillion, intra-African trade, variety in products and services sourced from fellow African peoples, competition policies, intellectual property rights and general investment facilitation.

This is an opportunity for you and various delegates from across Africa to have round-table discussions that are collaborative. You will also explore inclusive ways in which this free trade economic zone could be made to give maximum benefit to Africa as a continent, to the regions and to various countries. This virtual summit is important as it is a forerunner to the operationalisation of AfCTFA which is set to for 01 January 2021.
